Fitness is important, but is it the MOST important thing?

You love doing HIIT (high intensity interval training. You love doing strength training and personal training. But in order for you to benefit from the exercise you enjoy doing, you must have function. In this case, “function” means having the ability to move safely and with quality.

If you can’t move with function, your training isn’t going to pay off. It’s much more likely to result in injury and reduced performance.

In this brief video, Arena Fitness owner Joe Garcia explains why function matters and why we shut down all of our classes and sessions a few times per year to conduct FMS (Functional Movement Screen) Day.
