Improve your upper body performance with this warm up!

Posture is an issue that comes up frequently among the clients involved in our personal training in Northridge and Encino. Our 21st century lifestyles are pulling our bodies out of whack and placing a lot of stress on our musculoskeletal structures.

As a result, many of us feel pain in our neck, back and shoulders, sometimes our hips and hamstrings, too. That’s what hours of sitting in the car and in front of a computer will do to your body! But there are ways to offset this, you just have to know how and be willing to practice them consistently.

We are lucky enough to have some really sharp folks going through our internship program right now and Edward Niega is one of them. In this brief video, Edward illustrates how to use a band to warm up your upper body in a way that can improve posture and chest, back and shoulder performance. You can do this at home or before and after a workout.
