In her own words:

What were your results in the TDC?

“I lost 12 pounds, 12% body fat and 15.5 inches.”

What did you learn about your nutrition habits?

“I learned that I was a huge snacker and an emotional eater.  And it didn’t matter what the emotion was.  Happy, sad, stressed, you name it – If I was feeling it, I was eating.”

What did you learn about yourself?

“I learned that I can discipline myself to plan, prepare and portion my food, as well as eat on a set schedule daily with zero snacking in between.”

What surprised you the most?

“Two big surprises that go hand in hand: (1) I enjoyed cooking! (2) The recipes provided by the TDC were delicious, and even more importantly, EASY.  Between having a toddler and a demanding career, my time for extracurricular activities (which is what I used to refer to cooking as), is extremely limited, and the TDC made it super simple to shop for ingredients, plan and prepare meals in advance.”

Would you recommend TakeDown Challenge to  someone else?

“Absolutely!  You’ve got nothing to lose, except the extra weight.”

Anything else?

“I am proof that just because you’re stuck in a rut, doesn’t mean you have to stay stuck.  All it takes is discipline and a willingness to turn your bad habits into good ones.  Also, the support provided by Stacey, the trainers at Arena and all of the challengers was nothing short of extraordinary, and I’m lucky to be part of the Arena family.”
