Team Training
We offer a unique Team Training approach at Arena Fitness, in which we encourage our members to work with all of the fitness trainers on our staff. This has proven to be our most popular feature since opening; our members love it. By working with different trainers on a weekly or monthly basis you will have the opportunity to be exposed to different training specialties and strategies and will receive the most well-rounded fitness training program possible.
Everyone gets burned out from time to time. By working with multiple trainers and being exposed to different approaches and personalities you will have the greatest opportunity to remain fully engaged in your training process. This results in a much more rewarding experience and a greater return on your efforts.
F.I.T. Stations (Functional Integrated Training)
Our gym doesn’t look like other facilities, because it ISN’T like other facilities. One look through our front door and you will see that there is something different going on. Instead of being filled wall to wall with machines like other gyms, our space is divided into 4 separate F.I.T. Stations (plus a separate Group Exercise area), which are fully-equipped mini-gyms that enable our trainers to work with up to 4 clients at a time without crossing paths with other trainers or clients. This approach banishes typical gym problems like overcrowding, competing for equipment and having to traverse back and forth across the gym floor to get to the machine they want to use. Anchored by FreeMotion Fitness cable technology, each F.I.T. (Functional Integrated Training) Station possesses all of the training implements needed for a spectacular workout. Our open layout also allows for maximum training creativity and dynamic fitness programming. Our F.I.T. Station concept allows for the greatest use of time and yields the greatest results.
Four Components
Our training staff are all skilled in delivering diverse and comprehensive fitness programs. However, each staff member has a distinctive personality and unique area of emphasis. By participating in our Team Training approach you will have the greatest opportunity to focus on the Four Components that make up a well-rounded program:
Cardio - work in a fast-paced, circuit style fashion with integrated cardio intervals for top-notch heart and lung development and calorie burning. Also includes kickboxing and athletic training.
Balance - develop balance and stabilization not only to avoid injury, but to learn how to deliver strength and power efficiently and maximize your exercise output.
Core - strengthen and balance critical trunk musculature for proper body alignment and integrate corrective exercises to improve postural disorders and stabilize the spine properly.
Strength - improve muscle, bone and joint strength through proper resistance training and emphasize muscular look and tone.
Properly addressing each of these components will result in the maximum benefit from your personal training regimen. These integrated components comprise the foundation of the Personal Training and fitness programs at Arena Fitness.
